Blissfield, MI East Side High School Class of 1900 Graduation

East Side High School Graduates a Class of Eight.

Blissfield, Mich., June 21.—The East Side high school graduating exercises were conducted Tuesday evening at Lamley’s opera house, the stage of which was handsomely trimmed with flowers and the class colors, purple and gold. Morrison’s orchestra furnished the music, and it was very excellent. The stage presented a garden scene, with a fence and a gate in the background. Over the gate was the word “Knowledge,” and at 8 o’clock this was opened by little Alma Marshall, to permit the class to march in. A feature of the exercises was the presentation of diplomas by eight little girls in white, all from the primary room, little Natelie Doan making the speech.

The graduates were Iva Zula Pierce, Ida Elizabeth Porter, Elmer Addison Beamer, Hope Lenora Stein, Fred O. Payne, Bessie Imogene Furman, Ruby Armina Rouse, Otto Wm. Wagner.
