On March 13, 1925, the student body gave three one-act plays, under the direction of Miss Peekema, for the benefit of the "La Perita." The play given first was "The Teeth of the Gift Horse.- The characters were:

Marietta Williams, Mr. Butler's aunt Margaret Wiedmann
Anne Fisher friends of the Butlers Dorothy Thomas

Katie, the maid • Crysinthia Herzog
Between the first and second one-act plays, the Girls' Glee Club sang "Voices of the Woods," "Nightingale and Rose" and "Flow'ret (Forget-Me-Not)."
"The Falcon and the Lady" followed. The characters were: Mario, Count di Tallerighi George Thinly
Lena, Mario's peasant foster mother Eleanor Bishop
Beppo, Lena's son and servant to Mario Joe Enos
Diana Templeton, a wealthy American widow Mary Reed
Esther Madison, an American Divorcee Mary Jane Thinly
George King and Catherine Greene put on a clever "skit" between the second and third play. They sang "The Barefoot Trail."
''Suppressed Desires'' followed. The characters were:
Stephen Brewster, an architect Melvin Quinn
Henrietta Brewster, his wife Victoria de Back
Mabel, Henrieta's sister Alta Kirtlan
Between the first and second scene, George King, electrically ''lighted up" and sunburned (to a black shade) sang "Why Dcn't You Try?"
On May 8, the Juniors will present a three-act play, entitled "The Elopement of Ellen," under the coaching of Miss Gratiot. The cast is:
